Frank Mobilio is a distinguished cinematographer renowned for his work on films, TV, commercials and music videos for some of the biggest names in the music industry. His visually stunning and stylistically diverse cinematography for artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, Rosalía, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus and Travis Scott has led to worldwide recognition including an MTV VMA nomination for best cinematography in 2018. A recent collaboration with Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson led to the music video for “I’m Just Ken – Merry Christmas Barbie” from the “Barbie” motion picture soundtrack.
2024 has seen the cinematographer expand into long form with the wide release of his debut feature film “Arcadian” (directed by Benjamin Brewer and starring Nicolas Cage) following its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Additionally, his work with director Brook Linder on the Netflix series “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA” contributed significantly to the show’s distinct visual identity, providing a uniquely real yet stylish look at the City of Los Angeles.
The cinematographer is currently working with frequent collaborator director Nathalie Canguilhem on a documentary project set in the world of fashion while continuing to lend his eye to music videos and commercials for top artists and brands.
